For the past 25 years, Mr. Rorke has been a senior manager for a number of emerging growth companies, special situations, and turnarounds. Mr. Rorke spent four years as president of Danskin, increasing sales 65% and recording a dramatic bottom-line turnaround. As CEO of Kaplan Educational Centers, a subsidiary of The Washington Post, Mr. Rorke reversed declines in EBIT and revenue during a very successful two-year turnaround assignment. Prior to joining Navagate he led a one year rebuilding effort for an enterprise software company. At the end of the year, the company was sold at an attractive multiple to Cisco. Since 1997 Mr. Rorke has been on the faculty of Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
From 1991 through 1996, Mr. Langstine served as vice president and controller at AD/SAT, an innovative communications company specializing in the transmission of print advertising to newspapers throughout the U.S. Previously, Mr. Langstine spent nearly 18 years at the Associated Press where he rose to the position of Director of Financial Planning. Mr. Langstine has a B.S. in Accounting from Manhattan College and a M.S. from Columbia University.
Phil Needham has over 20 years of experience delivering software and system integration solutions to the financial services industry. Prior to joining Navagate in 2004, Phil worked with Corillian Corporation, Synopsys and Logica, providing software solutions and services within EMEA and Asia. Phil is a graduate of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and holds a MSc degree in Information Technology.
Mr. Opanasets joined Navagate in 2000, bringing eight years of professional experience in designing and managing information technology systems. Prior to working for Navagate, Mr. Opanasets served as an Information Technology Manager at The United Nations Children Fund and The United Nations Development Program, designing and managing IT infrastructures for Field Offices in the Central and Eastern Europe region. Mr. Opanasets has a M.S. in Information Technology from Belarusian State University.
Mr. Bryl joined Navagate in January 2002 with over 13 years of Eastern European management experience. He came to Navagate from the Jamal Oil and Gas Refinery Company of Russia, where he served as the General Manager for the Republic of Belarus. Previously he served as the Business Manager for the Representative Office of Slovenijales (Slovenija, Ljubljana) in the Republic of Belarus. From 1996 to 1998 Mr. Bryl served as the Vice President of a Joint Venture Karuna SBS Limited. Mr. Bryl is a graduate of Belorussian Polytechnic Academy.
